COUNTYWIDE : Foreign-Policy Experts Sought for Cable Show
Politicians, professors and other people considered experts on foreign policy are being given a chance to star in a new cable television program.
The program, “World Affairs Update With Scott Allen Gates,” features interviews of foreign-policy experts on timely topics such as Haiti, Bosnia and Kuwait.
“We’re trying to get interesting people who know about world affairs on the show,” said Nick Mamounas, 33, the show’s producer. “We’re looking for anyone--from educators to writers to politicians--who has knowledge about the world around us.”
The interviews are taped a month before they air in Fullerton, Placentia and Buena Park. Experts interested in appearing on the show are asked to call Mamounas at (714) 871-0603.
