Work Crew Cleans Huntington Oil Leak
HUNTINGTON BEACH —
A work crew spent Sunday attempting to clean up about 750 gallons of crude oil that leaked from an underground pipe into the gutter of a Huntington Beach street, a fire official said.
The leak was discovered at 5 p.m. Saturday near a sidewalk at 1717 Huntington St., the official said.
The crew began the cleanup at 9 p.m. Saturday, the official said, and the area is expected to be completely cleaned sometime today .
