Ah Sigh Aims to Solidify Rank
Frank Nakamura’s Ah Sigh will be trying to strengthen her case as one of the top 2-year-old fillies in the nation tonight in the $150,000 Ed Burke Memorial Futurity at Los Alamitos.
Ridden by John Creager, Ah Sigh impressively won her trial on Oct. 21, posting the fastest qualifying time, 17.57 seconds, for tonight’s 350-yard final. The filly, trained by Charlie Bloomquist and winner of the Miss Kindergarten Futurity, drew the inside post for the Ed Burke, the 10th race on tonight’s card.
Ah Sigh will race The Fling King, runner-up in the Kindergarten Futurity, and Intermountain stakes winner BCR My Main Man, among others.
