Moorpark High School Principal Cary Dritz has been named the new director of human resources for the Ventura County superintendent of schools office. He will take over the position in December.

Dritz, 42, will be responsible for personnel functions for the county schools office and its 375 employees, school officials said.

“The superintendent of schools office is embarking on a multi-year plan to create higher levels of staff competence, satisfaction and productivity,” schools Supt. Charles Weis said in a prepared statement. “Cary will be a key player in that effort.”
