TUSTIN : Computer Awareness Class to Be Offered
The Tustin Unified School District is offering a free two-hour lecture for residents who want to know more about computers.
The lecture, “Computer Awareness Night for the Technologically Terrorized,” will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 16 in the computer lab of the A.G. Currie Middle School, 1402 Sycamore Ave.
Topics will include hardware and software definition, choosing a computer, understanding computer basics, how to read a computer store advertisement and information on the more advanced multimedia technology and Internet.
A question-and-answer session will follow.
Brock Wagner, the school district’s management and information director, said the lecture will help parents who are thinking of buying a computer for themselves and their children.
