ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST : Hiker Finds Scattered Pile of Human Bones
A hiker in the Angeles National Forest found a scattered pile of human bones Sunday about a mile from California 39 north of Azusa.
Homicide investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department recovered the remains but were unable to determine an identification or cause of death. The bones were sent to the coroner’s office for testing, a sheriff’s spokesman said.
