Unless there’s an explosion in the local economy, Garden Grove’s job market isn’t expected to grow very much in the next 25 years, according to a county report.
Officials expect about 80 new jobs to be created yearly in the city.
The county projects that Garden Grove will have 48,000 jobs in 1995. By 2020, the city should have about 50,000.
Mirroring a statewide trend, most of these new jobs will be in the service industry, such as in lodging and food service, officials said.
Garden Grove has population of 150,000.
