2 Men Injure Occupant, Rob Huntington Home
Two armed men dressed in black forced their way into a Huntington Harbour home Wednesday night and held the residents captive, pistol-whipping one, while they ransacked the house, police said.
About 7:30 p.m., residents told police, two men wearing ski masks and carrying handguns forced their way into the house in the 4000 block of Ondine Circle, near Heil Avenue and Algonquin Street.
For about 90 minutes, the men ransacked the house and pistol-whipped at least one of the occupants, according to Lt. Clyde Stuart. The men then fled with an unknown amount of valuables and an ATM bank card.
After calling police, one of the residents, who have not been identified, was treated at the scene for chest pains by medics.
