WATTS : Lawyer Cochran Will Lead Holiday Parade

Bands, clowns, drill teams, city dignitaries and community members--to be led by O.J. Simpson lawyer Johnnie L. Cochran Jr.--will follow Santa Claus up Central Avenue Saturday in the 29th Watts/Willowbrook Christmas Parade.
The parade, with the theme “International Images,” will start at noon at Magic Johnson Community Regional Park and head along El Segundo Boulevard to Central Avenue, then east on 103rd Street to Grandee Avenue and on to 104th Street.
Participants include Zola Taylor of the Platters, blues stars Harmonica Fats and Margie Evans, and Mayor Richard Riordan.
