SIMI VALLEY : Neighborhood Panel Applicants Sought
Wanted: community-oriented Simi Valley residents interested in having a say in planning, development, traffic and environmental issues in their neighborhood.
The city is accepting applications for its four neighborhood councils.
Board members meet on a monthly basis to review issues of interest to the community.
Neighborhood councils also sponsor volunteer events and participate in the Community Emergency Response Team Program.
Terms last two years, and applicants must be at least 18 years old.
The deadline for submitting applications is Jan. 6.
