4,000 March in Chamber’s Holiday Parade

Hundreds of San Fernando Valley residents--toting chairs, blankets and containers of hot cocoa--lined Chatsworth Street in Granada Hills on Sunday for the 11th annual Holiday Parade. This year’s festivities included 4,000 participants from more than 150 groups, making it the Granada Hills Chamber of Commerce’s largest parade to date.

Mark and Caren Pinson were among the first to stake out a prime curbside spot. Although they’ve been coming to the parade for years to watch some of their eight children march through the streets, this was the first year that the entire brood made it onto one float. “One way or another, they’ve all been involved,” Mark Pinson said.
