SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : New Chaplain Named at Episcopal School

St. Margaret’s Episcopal School has appointed a new chaplain.

The Rev. W. Clarke Prescott joins the school after a year’s sabbatical following a position as an interim assistant for pastoral care at Trinity Church in New York.

For 11 years, Prescott was a lieutenant commander in the Chaplain Corps of the Navy. Before that, he helped churches and taught English and Spanish in several states and in South America.

Prescott holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Manhattan College in New York and a master’s degree in theology from Bexley Hall in New York.
