HTP International Inc.: The firm has acquired privately held Chase Technologies for an undisclosed amount of cash, the two companies said Thursday.

Chase, based in St. Petersburg, Fla., designs and distributes audio and video products for home entertainment.

An HTP spokesman said that the acquisition will “further broaden the company’s expanding technological base and provide important added distribution outlets nationwide.”

HTP, based in Anaheim, distributes audio and video products for Paramount Pictures.
