Sunday Postal Hours to Ease Holiday Rush
The U.S. Postal Service is offering an early Christmas gift to people worried about mailing out their Christmas cards in time--Sunday hours.
Nine post offices will be open in the San Fernando, Antelope and Santa Clarita valleys this Sunday and Dec. 18. Hours on those days will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Sunday holiday hours will be in effect at the following post offices:
In the San Fernando Valley, Canoga Park main office, 8201 Canoga Ave.; Northridge main office, 9534 Reseda Blvd.; Sherman Oaks Station, 14900 Magnolia Blvd.; Studio City Station, 3950 Laurel Canyon Blvd.; the Van Nuys main office, 15701 Sherman Way, and the Woodland Hills main office, 22121 Clarendon St.
Both the Burbank main office, 2140 N. Hollywood Way, and the Glendale main office, 313 E. Broadway, also will be open.
In Santa Clarita, the main office will be open at 24355 Creekside Road, as will The Postal Store, 23640 Lyons Ave.
The Lancaster main office, located at 1008 W. Avenue J-2, also will participate.
These post offices are also open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays throughout the year.
