PORT HUNEME : Man Sought in Bank Robbery

Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a Bank of America office in Port Hueneme on Monday afternoon and fled with an unknown amount of cash.
Officer Ron Burns of the Port Hueneme Police Department said a man entered the bank branch at 755 W. Channel Islands Blvd. about 4:41 p.m. Monday.
Burns said the man made it appear he had a handgun and handed a note to a teller demanding money.
Police searched the neighborhood but did not find the suspect. Burns said no one saw a weapon, and no one was hurt. The FBI is investigating.
