Countywide : Meeting to Focus on Plant Life After Fires

The Orange County chapter of the California Native Plant Society will hold a public meeting tonight on the regeneration of plants after last year’s Southland wildfires. Jon Keeley, a biology professor at Occidental College, will discuss regeneration patterns that he has monitored at 50 test sites, including Laguna Beach.

The free meeting will be held at the Irvine Ranch Water District headquarters, at 15600 Sand Canyon Ave., in Irvine, at 7:30 p.m.
