ESCONDIDO--The San Diego Wild Animal Park is also twinkling for its annual Festival of Lights, 4-9 nightly through Dec. 30 (except Dec. 24-25). SANTA CRUZ--The Cocoanut Grove hosts its annual New Year’s Eve party, 8 p.m.-1:30 a.m. Dec. 31. Festivities include live music all night and a breakfast buffet after the countdown. $47.25 in advance; $58.80 at the door. If you can’t wait until the 31st to celebrate, a New Year’s Eve party is 9 p.m.-1 a.m. Dec. 30. $13 in advance: $15 at the door. SAN DIEGO--Ring in 1995 at the 10th annual Masked Ball, 8:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m. Dec. 31 at the San Diego Convention Center, 111 West Harbor Drive.
