Art of the Kingdom: A couple who met, became engaged, and married at Disneyland have co-authored a photo book showing where to find various painting, carving, sculptures and other artifacts at the Magic Kingdom.
“Where in Disneyland Park” by Scott and Shani Wolf is being sold at Disney Stores, Disneyland and the new Walt Disney Gallery at MainPlace/Santa Ana. It retails for $9.95.
Scott Wolf, a onetime assistant producer of computer games for Disney Consumer Products in Burbank, met his future wife while she worked as a clerk at the Watch Shop on Main Street at Disneyland. They got married at the Disneyland Hotel exactly a year after their first date.
The couple said they got the idea for the book from noticing how many beautiful artworks there are inside the park. For instance, it shows a plaque engraved with a skull in New Orleans Square and a decorative peacock drawing at the Aladdin’s Oasis dinner theater. The book’s foreword was written by former Disneyland President Jack Lindquist.
