SAN FERNANDO : 180 Families to Get Holiday Hams
There will be a big slab of holiday ham on the tables of 180 needy families, thanks to a donation by San Fernando Swap Meet operator William Hannon.
Hannon bought hams to be given to the San Fernando Police Department, which will in turn distribute them to economically disadvantaged families in the area.
“I like to call them cheerful bags,” Hannon said of the gift packages that police will distribute for Christmas.
The swap meet owner also encourages others to join in making similar donations through the San Fernando police.
