Relatives of Dead Man Sought by Officials

A Ventura County coroner’s official said Monday that officials are searching for relatives of a man found dead near railroad tracks in Oxnard last week.
Lupe Gonzalez Ordaz, 44, was found dead Friday near the tracks east of 6th Street, said Jim Wingate, deputy coroner. Wingate said coroner’s officials are waiting for toxicology reports before determining the cause of death.
Wingate said authorities have been unable to locate any of Ordaz’s friends or relatives, and anyone with information about Ordaz should contact the coroner’s office at 652-5750.
