SAN PEDRO : Caltrans Opens New Park and Ride Lot

Caltrans has replaced a park and ride lot at Channel and Gaffey streets with a new 280-space lot.
The new lot, at 515 N. Beacon St., provides free parking with security for local car-pool users who take the Harbor Freeway. Express Bus 445 into Downtown Los Angeles will also operate from the lot.
The site was chosen by a local community advisory committee.
