SIMI VALLEY : 2 Students Held in Adult School Thefts
Two students at Simi Valley Adult Education school were arrested Thursday on suspicion of stealing car parts and other equipment from the school’s auto shop classroom, police said.
Billy Gabriel, 18, of Fillmore, and Hermelindo Sandoval, 34, of Oxnard, were arrested after police searched their homes Thursday and recovered some of the stolen property, Simi Valley police said.
Police said they received a tip that the property, including a TV, a floor jack, auto repair manuals and assorted tools, could be found at the suspects’ homes.
