Obituaries : Dolores C. Hansen; Small-Business Owner, Simi Valley Resident
Dolores C. Hansen, a Simi Valley resident for 45 years, died Friday after a brief illness. She was 80.
Hansen, who was born in Winona, Minn., moved to Simi Valley in 1949 with her husband, Elmer. Over the years she owned and operated a beauty shop in Simi Valley and an art and frame shop in Thousand Oaks. She served as president of the Simi Valley Art Assn.
Hansen is survived by her brother, Jerome Majerus of Winona, Minn.; her son Richard of Simi Valley; another son, Roger, of Paso Robles, and 10 grandchildren.
A graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ted Mayr Funeral Home in Ventura.
