NEWPORT BEACH : Irvine Co. Projects Are Subject of Forum
Updates on local residential and commercial projects planned by the Irvine Co. will be presented Wednesday at a general membership meeting of Speak Up Newport, a nonprofit organization that provides a forum to explore community issues.
Speaking that evening will be Irvine Co. Vice President Tom Redwitz and Coastal Community Builders Vice President Norm Webb.
Among the items to be discussed are the Newporter North, Newport Coast and Upper Castaways residential projects; the Lower Castaways boat slips proposal, and a 300,000-square-foot expansion of the Fashion Island shopping center.
The Speak Up Newport meeting is scheduled for 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Villa Nova Restaurant, 3131 W. Coast Highway in Newport Beach.
Admission is free, and refreshments will be served.
