Yorba Linda’s plans to revitalize the historic Main Street business district might fall victim to the bond crisis.

City officials plan to release a report later this month that assesses whether the project will be affected by the collapse of the county investment pool.

The city plans to spend $500,000 to give a face lift to Main Street, which is lined with small businesses.

The city also hopes to improve lighting and install a fountain, clock tower, benches and signs in the area. It also wants to expand street parking.

Yorba Linda has about $13 million in the frozen investment pool.
