From Staff and Wire Reports

Mighty Duck left wing Steven King, who missed the final two months of last season after undergoing reconstructive surgery on his right shoulder, is scheduled to undergo exploratory surgery on his other shoulder Thursday and might be unable to play this season even if the NHL lockout is resolved.

Right wing John Lilley, who was assigned to San Diego when the lockout began, will be out about another month after breaking his jaw in a game Dec. 14.
