Spirit of Giving
I feel fortunate to be living in a community where people care so much for others. The first annual Conejo Community Holiday Dinner fed more than 300 people on Christmas Day, through the efforts of more than 200 volunteers from the greater Conejo area.
People here are eager to reach out to others, and when an opportunity presents itself, they respond with love and compassion. We feel renewed when we hear of kind and generous acts. When we are the givers, we are in truth the recipients. We have the power to make a positive difference, and when we come together, the difference is unparalleled.
