OXNARD : Man, Teen-Ager Held on Drug Charges

A 22-year-old Oxnard man and a 15-year-old boy were arrested Friday on suspicion of selling heroin after police raided the man’s home, police said.

Oxnard police entered the home of Jesus Mora in the 100 block of Ann Avenue about 11 a.m. Friday after a three-week investigation and found about 10 ounces of heroin worth about $25,000, authorities said.

Mora and the teen-ager were arrested. Mora also was charged with using the minor to sell narcotics, police said.

Jaime Aguilar, 21, who arrived at the house during the raid, was arrested on suspicion of using drugs, police said.

Aguilar and Mora were taken to the Ventura County Jail, and the 15-year-old was booked into the Ventura County Juvenile Facility, police said.

A 10-day-old infant found at the scene was handed over to the child’s mother, who came to the residence during the raid, police said.
