ON THE MOVE: Former Assemblyman Pat Nolan of Glendale is still going places. . . . Nolan will soon be relocated from the Dublin, Calif., prison where he’s been serving time on political corruption charges. Is it retaliation for his recent criticism of the federal justice system? Nope. Prison officials just don’t want him fraternizing with future inmates: The facility becomes a women’s prison in April.

ADD NOLAN: Joining Nolan and all the other male inmates being relocated from the Bay Area facility are former LAPD officers Stacey Koon and Laurence Powell of Rodney King fame. . . . Powell’s attorney, Michael P. Stone, said many inmates are not told which prison they will end up in: “They wake them early one morning, and away they go.”

IT’S A KICK: Former CSUN kicker Bryan Wagner, above, is only one step away from the Super Bowl . . . but it hasn’t been easy getting there. A punter with the San Diego Chargers, who face the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday for the AFC championship, Wagner has kicked for five NFL teams (C10). Now he’s put religion ahead of his career. Said Wagner: “If I had it turned around and it was my career first, it would get to me . . .”

STALLED: Word that state efforts to help quake victims have stalled (A1) doesn’t please the victims. “It blows my mind,” says Ellen Vukovich, a Sherman Oaks homeowner. One bill that was vetoed by Gov. Pete Wilson was the so-called “homeowners’ bill of rights.” Said one advocate: The bill “was so watered down it didn’t fit the crisis anymore.”

KING PROJECT: The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday will be remembered Monday, but his memory may soon come to life. . . . BRC Imagination Arts of Burbank is talking with King’s son to develop an interactive attraction in Atlanta honoring King. Special effects may include robots. “There’s no doubt that we have the ability to recreate the circumstances that Dr. King faced,” said one BRC executive.
