Florence Masnada of France earned her first World Cup victory in 1 minute, 25.92 seconds in the super giant slalom in GarmischPartenkirchen, Germany, saying that thoughts of Ulrike Maier inspired her on the first race on the course where the Austrian ace crashed and died a year ago.
