LA HABRA : City Fair Moved to Euclid Street

Share

The City Council, in an effort to please business owners who complained that the city’s 14th annual “I Love La Habra” fair would hurt businesses because it would close La Habra Boulevard, has moved the fair to Euclid Street.

The Feb. 9-12 fair will be south of La Habra Boulevard, in front of the Children’s Museum at La Habra and the Depot Theatre.

The council had given its approval to closing La Habra Boulevard for the fair after a Chamber of Commerce survey concluded the majority of boulevard businesses owners favored of the street closure.

But several business owners said they were not contacted by for the survey and wanted the fair moved. The council changed the fair’s location at last week’s meeting and no one complained, City Manager Lee Risner said.
