Drug Charges Filed Against Daughter of Peter Sellers

Felony drug charges were filed Wednesday against Victoria Sellers, Heidi Fleiss’ friend and daughter of the late actor Peter Sellers.

Sellers, 30, was arrested Monday in West Hollywood for possession of methamphetamine for sale and possession of a controlled substance--diazepam--said Deputy Dist. Atty. Carol Fisch.

She was also charged with one misdemeanor count of being under the influence of methamphetamine, Fisch said.

Sellers gained notoriety as a friend and confidante of Fleiss, convicted “madam to the stars.” The two were regulars on the nightclub circuit together before Fleiss was convicted.

Sellers, who had been in custody since her arrest, posted bail of $20,000 and was released prior to her arraignment Wednesday. Her arraignment in Van Nuys Municipal Court was rescheduled to Feb. 14, authorities said.

Deputies arrested Sellers after making a traffic stop of a car, driven by an acquaintance, in which she was a passenger. She asked deputies to retrieve her dog and purse from the car and deputies found the drugs in her purse, authorities said.

The case was brought to a Van Nuys Superior Court because Fisch, the prosecutor, had handled a Jan. 4 misdemeanor case involving Sellers. Sellers, who had been charged with one count of receiving stolen property in that case, was sentenced to 13 days in jail and placed on three years probation.
