Pepperdine University is scheduled to celebrate the opening of a new coffeehouse and student lounge area on the Seaver College campus on Feb. 25, during Pepperdine’s homecoming festivities.
The Howard A. White Center, located between Conner and Crocker residence halls, will be open 24 hours a day to students and alumni.
The facility, measuring 7,200 square feet, will be named after the university’s fifth president, the late Howard A. White.
White, who was president from 1978 to 1985, died in 1991.
