Ducks May Be Trying a Little Too Hard

The thrill of seeing a live hockey game should be enough for any real fan. Disney’s attempts to make Ducks’ games an extravaganza are silly and embarrassing. The Decoys are inane, the laser imagery is costly and unnecessary and Wild Wing is boring after his flight from the rafters. Real hockey fans do not need to be entertained with music, cheerleaders and scoreboard-induced chants between every faceoff.

I am beginning to think that Georgia was right: It is hard to find real sports fans in Orange County.
