You see the score and figure the Clippers must have been playing in this game.

But it was the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers, with the Celtics winning, 75-67, Wednesday night at Boston.

The Celtics scored only 25 points in the first half, and the Cavaliers scored 27 in the second.

The Celtics won despite setting a club record for fewest field goals (22) in one game, and despite trailing by 19 points in the third quarter.

The Cavaliers tied a team record for fewest points in a game, and their 27 points tied the team record for fewest points in a half.

“Was that a hell of a game or what?” the Celtics’ Dominique Wilkins said.

He missed all eight of his shots in the first half, when Cleveland led, 40-25, then made a big three-pointer that gave Boston a 72-67 lead with 28 seconds left.

Phoenix 108, Utah 104--Danny Ainge scored 19 points and made two key steals as the Suns won at Salt Lake City.

Charles Barkley was hit in the left eye by Tom Chambers and did not play in the second half.

Houston 97, Sacramento 86--Hakeem Olajuwon had 31 points, 17 rebounds and eight blocks at Sacramento to lead the Rockets.

Portland 116, Chicago 103--Cliff Robinson scored 28 points, including 22 in the second half, to lead the Trail Blazers at Portland.

Orlando 110, Dallas 92--The Magic shook off a slow start to improve its home record to 23-1 as Anfernee Hardaway scored 20 points and Shaquille O’Neal had 19 in three quarters.

Milwaukee 100, Minnesota 93--Glenn Robinson scored 37 points, including all eight of his free throws in the fourth quarter, as the Bucks rallied to win at Milwaukee.

Atlanta 111, New Jersey 88--Steve Smith, who made five of nine three-point attempts, scored a career-high 35 points to lead the Hawks at Atlanta.

Charlotte 106, Detroit 78--For a tired Piston team, this game at Auburn Hills, Mich., marked its worst loss of the season. The Pistons were playing their third game in three days because of a makeup game with Washington on Tuesday. An earlier game was postponed because of wet conditions caused by ice under the floor.

Miami 111, Washington 107--The Bullets, playing back-to-back road games, lost at Miami. The Heat’s Glen Rice scored 27 points, Bimbo Coles tied a career-high with 25.

New York 96, Indiana 77--Patrick Ewing had 24 points, a season-high 22 rebounds and five blocks for the Knicks at Indianapolis. The Pacers’ Reggie Miller scored 11 points in the first quarter but had only two baskets after that.
