3,100 Ford Contours and Mercury Mystiques Recalled: The auto maker said it is taking the action to replace the glass on the right rear door window. In some of the vehicles, Ford Motor Co. said, the glass may not have been properly tempered and, if broken, some of the particles could be larger than federal standards permit. Ford said it has received no report of injury related to the glass. Vehicle owners are being notified by mail. About 600 of the affected cars are in Canada.
