Air Force Plane Crashes During Training; 2 Killed

SIMLA, Colo. —
An Air Force Academy plane has crashed on a routine training mission, killing an officer and a cadet.
Capt. Daniel E. Fischer, an instructor pilot with the 557th Flying Training Squadron, and Cadet 2nd Class Mark C. Dostal were flying in a single-engine T-3 trainer when the plane crashed Wednesday morning. A board of Air Force officers will investigate.
