TORRANCE : El Monte Man Dies a Year After Being Shot
An El Monte man who was shot in the head died this week at a medical facility in Torrance, about a year after he suffered the wound, a sheriff’s spokesman announced this week.
Long Mang Phang, 33, died Monday at Bay Harbor Rehabilitation Center, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Mark Bailey.
Phang was wounded while riding in a car.
