Winners of the juried art exhibition will be awarded cash prizes in the following categories: landscape/seascape, still life/floral, portraits, genre painting and abstract.

All entries must consist of original works completed in the last two years. Applications are available beginning Wednesday at the center, 255 S. Hill St., and work must be delivered between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on April 29.

“I have really been impressed with the quality of the work from last year’s show,” said Kayren Lyle, the show’s curator. “There is some incredibly beautiful work that gets submitted.”

Entry fee is $10 for two registered submissions.

The art exhibition is sponsored by the December Rose Assn. for Creative Seniors, a nonprofit organization established in 1983.
