Irvine’s Wonderware Selects Its Regional Manager for Asia
* Choong Keng Goh has been appointed regional manager for Asia for the new Singapore office of Wonderware Corp. Goh comes to Wonderware, an Irvine industrial automation software company, after 10 years with AEG Modicon in Asia, where he was most recently regional sales manager for the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
* George L. Bragg has been elected a member of the board of directors of Eltron International Inc., a Chatsworth manufacturer of bar code label printers, software and related accessories. Bragg is chairman of Markwood Capital Alliance, a management and financial consulting firm in Santa Ana. Before joining Markwood, Bragg was president and chief executive of Nichols Institute, a provider of specialized medical testing services, and before that he was vice chairman of Western Digital Corp., an Irvine manufacturer of computer products.
* Steven T. Bailey, executive vice president of Pimco Advisors in Newport Beach, has been given the additional post of chief financial officer. Bailey will continue to be responsible for the investment management firm’s institutional services division.
* Carol Kneubuehl has been elected president of the Laguna Beach Visitors Bureau for 1995. She is general manager of the Inn at Laguna Beach.
* Barry Eisenberg has joined Upsonic Inc., an Aliso Viejo manufacturer of “uninterruptible” power systems, as key account manager for the Pacific region. In his new position, he will be responsible for the development of new accounts in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Hawaii and Alaska. Eisenberg was previously with Liebert Corp. in Irvine for seven years.
* Karen Schohan has been appointed marketing manager for Interplay Productions’ console product line. She was formerly director of marketing for Sunsoft America, a manufacturer of arcade and video game software. In addition, Lisa Nemec was placed in the newly created position of communications manager. She was previously an account executive for Lages & Associates, a public relations and marketing communications firm.
