SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Applicants Sought for City Panels
The city is seeking applicants who are interested in future openings on city advisory boards and commissions.
The deadline to submit applications is March 17. Applications are available at City Hall, 32400 Paseo Adelanto. Applicants must be city residents.
The city has six commissions that advise the City Council on a host of issues.
Each year, the city seeks applicants whether there are vacancies or not.
One of the six panels--the Mobile Home Park Review Committee--has an opening for an alternate representative at-large.
The other five panels are the Cultural Heritage Commission; the Parks, Recreation and Equestrian Commission; the Los Rios Review Committee; the Planning Commission, and the Transportation Commission.
The city keeps applications on file for one year in order for the City Council to consider them should other vacancies come up.
