General Motors to Recall 91,000 Vehicles: The nation’s No. 1 auto maker said it will recall its 1990-93 Pontiac LeMans cars because of insufficient lubrication in the tracks for shoulder belts, which could cause them to not work properly. General Motors Corp. said it received reports of 17 injuries allegedly caused by the faulty belts. It said car owners can still operate the automatic belts manually by following the owner’s manual. The Detroit-based company said dealers will apply new lubricant to the guide track rails of the affected cars at no charge.
