West Hollywood is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the December death of Carol Fuller, who died while she was trapped in a closet in her West Hollywood home.

The council unanimously approved the use of a reward Feb. 21, as part of the city of West Hollywood crime tips program.

Fuller, 72, is believed to have been barricaded in her bedroom closet by an intruder who ransacked her Crescent Heights Boulevard home and stole her 1972 Lincoln Continental.

She was unable to free herself and died of dehydration or starvation sometime after Dec. 10, 1994, authorities said.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies are still searching for the white, two-door Lincoln Continental, license 2ATP684.

To pass along a tip, call sheriff’s homicide detectives at (213) 890-5500.
