Afghan Faction Rockets Kabul; 30 Killed, 90 Hurt

KABUL, Afghanistan —
A Shiite Muslim faction under attack from government forces fired rockets into Kabul on Tuesday, killing more than 30 people and wounding about 90, government sources said.
Earlier, the Shiite Hezb-i-Wahdat faction had threatened to launch Scud missiles against the government forces unless they stopped their 2-day-old assault on its enclave in southwestern Kabul.
