School of the Arts to Hold Auditions

Los Angeles County high school students interested in a career in the performing or visual arts may audition to enter the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts.
The school, founded in 1985, offers students in grades 10 through 12 a full range of academic courses and specialized training in dance, theater, music and the visual arts.
The auditions are scheduled April 23, and students must perform or show their visual art portfolio.
Applications are available and must be submitted by April 7.
