Services Set Tuesday for George Hoag II
Funeral services will be held Tuesday for George Grant Hoag II, the founder of Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach, who died last week.
A Catholic Mass will said at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 1441 W. Balboa Blvd., Newport Beach. A private interment for family members will follow the Mass.
Hoag, a local businessman and philanthropist, died March 9 of cardiac arrest. He was 77.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts in his memory be made either to the George Hoag Memorial Fund at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian, P.O. Box 6100, Newport Beach, CA 92658-6100, or to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
