Pi Kappa Alpha Should Accept Responsibility

Share

* In my opinion, Pi Kappa Alpha is behaving like a bunch of spoiled boys (“Fraternity to Fight Sanctions Over Theft,” March 2).

Its pledges commit a crime and are placed on probation--why aren’t they dismissed? Its chapter alumni adviser doesn’t think the recent sanctions are appropriate--what is?

The student representatives did the right thing by placing Pi Kappa Alpha on probation and banning its activities for a year.

My advice to Pi Kappa Alpha: Grow up and accept the responsibility. As the largest fraternity at Cal State Northridge, you need to be setting an example far different from what you have shown so far.
