WEST HOLLYWOOD : Parking Tickets May Help Solve Death of Woman

Share

Two parking tickets may help solve the death of an elderly West Hollywood woman who was barricaded in a closet during a robbery at her home, sheriff’s detectives said.

Carol Fuller’s stolen car was ticketed twice in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles on Dec. 14, the day she failed to keep an appointment, Sheriff’s Department spokesman Gabe Ramirez said. Detectives believe robbers barricaded Fuller in the closet of her home in the 1100 block of Crescent Heights Boulevard between Dec. 10 and Dec. 14 while they ransacked the residence. Her body was found in the closet Feb. 2.

Fuller’s 1972 Lincoln Continental was stolen. On Dec. 14, the car was ticketed twice: at 7:08 a.m. at 417 E. 7th St., and at 2:15 p.m. at 600 S. Wall St., Ramirez said. Detectives hope someone will call them if they noticed the car that day.
