OXNARD : School District Considers Clinics
The Oxnard Elementary School District on Wednesday will consider a contract that would allow new medical clinics to operate at two of the district’s schools.
The Clinicas del Camino Real Inc. would operate one clinic at Kamala School and the Ventura County Medical Center would operate another clinic at Cesar Chavez School.
Each clinic would have a pediatrician and a registered nurse on site.
If the district’s board of trustees approves the contracts, the clinics should start operating in May, district officials said. The one-year contract is renewable annually.
