* Thad Hyland has been named general manager of the Ojai Valley Inn. He has been general manager of the Peaks at Telluride in Colorado, the Ilihani Resort and Spa on Oahu in Hawaii, the Harbor View Hotel in Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., and the Snowmass Lodge & Club in Colorado.

He headed the Lodge at Koele in Lanai, Hawaii, when it was named one of the top three American resorts by Conde Nast’s Traveler magazine.

* Simone Lagomarsino has been named a senior vice president and chief financial officer of Ventura County National Bancorp. She is a former president and chief executive of Premier Bank in Northridge.

She has also held positions at Prudential Securities, Warner Center Bank and City National Bank. She is not related to Richard A. Lagomarsino, a director at Ventura County National Bancorp.

* Michael Hollins has been named manager of the subdivision and commercial-industrial department of Chicago Title Co. in Ventura County. He will continue to work in the firm’s Ventura office, where he was formerly senior title officer.

* Theresa Snow, an Oxnard notary public, has been named a state ambassador by the National Notary Assn. She will organize lobbying efforts and educational programs on behalf of her profession.

* Elaine McHale, owner of Creative Tours & Cruises in Camarillo, has been accredited as a master cruise counselor by the Cruise Lines International Assn.

* Joseph L. Priske has been named a director of Channel Islands National Bank in Oxnard. He is chief executive at Priske-Jones Co. in Ventura. He was formerly president of Priske Development Inc., whose projects included the Firehouse Plaza shopping center in Ventura.
